Amazfit has launched a new smartwatch in India called Amazfit Active. The watch features the Zepp Coach, which offers personalized workout guidance. It can also monitor health-related metrics like heart rate, SpO2 levels, etc. The smartwatch will be available to purchase next week in three different colors.

Amazfit Active Specifications And Features

Amazfit Active launched in India

The smartwatch has a 1.75-inch HD AMOLED rectangular display with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels. It also supports always-on functionality. Users get over 100 watch face options to choose from. The screen is carved inside a robust aluminum alloy frame. To wear the watch, users get silicone straps.

Amazfit Active comes with the Zepp Coach, an AI-powered algorithm that helps users train through workout-related guidance. It provides scientific training methods and evaluates the user’s fitness, fatigue level, and training status to suggest increasing the intensity or resting.

Like other smartwatches in the segment, Amazfit Active also offers several fitness monitoring features, like 24H heart rate, SpO2, and stress monitoring. Further, the device also features sleep quality monitoring. It ships with over 120 sports modes and five satellite positioning systems for accurate route tracking and navigation.

Amazfit Active Readiness score

Apart from the aforementioned features, Active also provides a Readiness Score. The smartwatch calculates this score based on other metrics such as heart rate, stress, sleep, respiration, and body temperature. The score helps users assess their physical readiness for daily tasks and monitor their overall well-being.

Regarding connectivity, the smartwatch enables users to make and receive phone calls via Bluetooth with the paired smartphone. Users should also be able to control their phone’s audio playback from the smartwatch. Even though the press release doesn’t mention receiving notifications from the smartphone, that should be among the device’s abilities.

Last but not least, the Amazfit Active promises a battery life of up to 14 days. With heavy usage, the battery life should go down to 10 days. Further, the watch should last about 16 hours with continuous GPS usage.
