Toyota Fortuner Legender made its official debut in the Indian market last year but now it has arrived in a revamped gold-wrapped version. This top-level Fortuner comes with some aesthetic changes like a restyled front fascia and a modified interior theme, along with some additional equipment and features.

Legender Gold-Wrapped Variant Price

The Legender is priced at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 42.05 lakh for RWD and Rs. 45.77 lakh for 4WD. The new 4×4 version is around Rs. 3.72 lakh pricier than the 4×2 and touches the 50 lakh mark (on-road) in some cities. The Legender 4.2 already costs around Rs. 48 lakh on road, in some cities.

Toyota Fortuner Legender: Design & Features

The Legender has been transformed into a gold-wrapped one by Crave Design. The front end has been completely overhauled and has got a slimmer front grille with a piano black finish and sleeker LED headlights with LED DRLs identical to the Legender variant. The car has been painted in custom Bronze-Gold paint with Kamakazi ceramic coating and Glasurit scratch-resistant hyper gloss clear coating.

On the side, the SUV has golden and black alloy wheels that compliment the rest of the car. Features also include ORVMs, door handles, and roof rails are painted in piano black, but the roof is body colored. The rear end has aftermarket LED units giving the car a more classy and swashbuckling look. The chrome highlights on the car have been turned into piano black, apart from the Toyota emblems on the tail and the nose section.

Aesthetic changes might be plenty, but there are no mechanical changes to the gold-wrapped variant. There are no interior alterations and the modification has been done in a neat and clean way. In terms of mechanics, the Legender has been powered by a 4×4 204hp, 500Nm, 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine. It has a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

On the safety front, all variants have 7 airbags, ABS, stability control, Hill start assist, and traction control as standard.
