The next Mi Pad has already surfaced in freshly leaked promotional material!

The new Mi Pad 3, which is slated to launch at the end of this year, is gunning to be the next Apple iPad Pro alternative. That is to say, it has a 9.7-inch, 2048 x 1536 resolution display and is super slim measuring just 6.08mm around the waist, which is a hair thinner than the iPad Pro (6.1mm).

The Mi Pad 3 has a full metal build and manages to be lighter, narrower and shorter than the iPad Pro as well (239.5×164.5mm VS 240 x 169.5).The Mi tablet also makes room for a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP sensor on the front. On the bottom, there is a USB Type C port and dual speaker grills. Xiaomi will be selling a separate Keyboard dock for the tablet priced at just $14.

According to the leaks, the Mi Pad 3 will be running Windows 10 OS. It’s powered by Intel’s 7th Gen Core m3-7Y30 processor paired with 8GB RAM. You can choose between 128GB and 256GB storage variants.

The 128GB and 256GB Mi Pad 3 variants will retail for CNY 1,999 ($289 or Rs. 19,600 Approx) and CNY 2,299 ($332 or Rs. 22,500 Approx) post their official launch.

Hopefully, Xiaomi will also release an Android variant of the Mi Pad soon.
