Asus has added a new smartphone – ZenFone Live (ZB501KL) in its portfolio in India at a launch event in the national capital. The real highlight of the phone is its ability to beautify videos in the real time. The smartphone comes with a dedicated BeautyLive live streaming app that allows users to remove blemishes, soften skin tones and more – all in real time while streaming videos on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and others.

Furthermore, to eliminate unnecessary background noise from the live streaming, Asus has added inbuilt MEMS microphones that come really handy with its ability to detect and eliminate distracting noises. The phone is compact and lightweight. It packs a screen-to-body ratio of 75 percent.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Asus ZenFone Live (ZB501KL) comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. It further comes with 16GB internal storage.  Its hybrid  supports microSD card up to 128GB.

Optics wise, the Asus ZenFone Live stars a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and which is aided by f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and LED flash. On the front, the smartphone flaunts a 5-megapixel selfie snapper which comes along with f/2.2 aperture, 1.4-micron pixel size, and soft light LED flash. In this selfie centric phone – low Light, manual mode, night modes are also available for the front camera. 

The ZenFone Live (ZB501KL) runs on ZenUI 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It comes packed with a 2650mAh non-removable battery out of the box.
