Ather has launched refreshed versions of its popular Ather 450X electric scooter with an upgraded set of features at performance and battery. The company has announced two models in the series – Ather 450X Gen 3 and Ather 450X Plus Gen 3. 

The latest 2022 Ather 450X Gen 3 e-scooters comes at aggressive pricing to give a close fight to Ola S1 Pro and TVS iQube 2022. Let’s look out for specs and pricing details.

2022 Ather 450X Gen 3 Pricing and Availability

The new 2022 Ather 450X Gen 3 electric scooter is priced at Rs 1.39 lakh while the Plus model starts at Rs 1.17 lakh. Both the prices are for ex-showroom Delhi including the applicable FAME II subsidies. The new EVs have entered mass production and the company promises to start delivery soon.

2022 Ather 450X Gen 3 Features 

The new 2022 Ather 450X comes with a larger 3.7kWh battery pack over the previous model’s 2.9kWh setup. As per the Indian Drive Cycle, the new version offers an extended range of 146km while the last-gen model can go up to 116km per single charge. 

The new Ather electric scooters can charge from 0-80% in 4 hours 30 minutes and from 0-100% in 5 hours 40 minutes with the home charger. While the company also offers a fast charger which juices the e-scooter at 1.5km/min in 0-50% SOC (State of Charge) and 1km/min at 50%-80% SOC.

The Ather 450X Gen 3 offers different driving modes including Warp, Sport, Ride, Eco, and Smart Eco Mode.

The new electric scooter gets the same 7-inch LCD IP65 touchscreen display showing necessary info like speed, range charging status, connectivity, and other riding modes. It is integrated with Google Maps and allows connectivity with smartphones to control music and calls.
