HTC Vive Finally Launched In India, Buy Exclusively From Amazon at Rs. 92,990

A year after its global debut the HTC Vive – a virtual reality (VR) headset today has officially made it to India. If you want to owe this highly anticipate VR gear, mind you it cost a fortune and will exclusively retail on Amazon.in from April 25, 2017, onwards. The HTC Vive price in India stands at Rs. 92,990 and can be pre-book starting April 22.

HTC will bundle two VR experiences, Everest VR and Richie’s Plank, for free with the Vive, it also announced.the Vvie gear is based on Valve’s Steam VR tracking and input technologies that ensure spell-bounding VR experience. It comes bundled with a wireless VR controllers, room scale movement, and headset with built-in camera. However, only buying a Vive gear will won’t make any sense until and unless you invest in a high-end PC.

As per HTC, Vive requires a PC with minimum configuration either a Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or an AMD Radeon R9 290 graphics card (coupled with 4GB of RAM or more).

Apart from free Shipping Amazon is also two VR experiences – Everest VR and Richie’s Plank experience. The Everest VR illusion experience of what it feels like to climb Mount Everest whereas in Richie’s Plank experience makes users take a walk on a plank 80 that is stories high above the ground and then let them walk on it to the end.
