LG X Cam With Dual Rear Cameras Launched At 19,990 INR

The LG X Cam is one of many LG smartphones that pull down one of the highlighted ‘flagship phone’ feature to a mid-range price. With the X Cam you get an LG G5 like dual rear camera setup for 19,990 INR.

The bump on the rear makes room for an extra 5MP shooter with a wide-angle lens, besides the primary 13MP sensor. The camera software can combine feeds from both sensors to let you have more in each clicked frame.

Pretty much how it works on the G5.

Besides inheriting camera smarts, the X Cam also takes design cues from the flagship G5, Which, unfortunately, didn’t set the bar too high. You get a rather bland plastic back cover with speaker grills drilled in a corner.

On the front, there is a 5.2-inch full HD display, and a 8MP selfie shooter. The Performance will primarily bank on a 1.14GHz Octa-Core processor that’s paired with Mali-T720MP3 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB native storage (Expandable up to 2TB).

The slim (6.9mm) and light (120 grams) LG X Cam runs Android Marshmallow based custom software out of the box, and houses a modest 2520mAh battery within. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2.
