Classy product
Cools pretty quick. So far so good. It's copper piping but aluminium condenser. I went with this coz Godrej provides 5 years warranty on condensor along with 10 years compressor warranty. Important thing is do check for this 10 year compressor and 5 year condensor warranty properly as there will be no different warranty card with it. I went by the service center's word and even on the website of Godrej they mention it but if purchased before November 2016. I spoke with the Godrej sales person and shs said it's extended till March 2017 and will shortly be updated on the website too. The service center ppl here do accept Flipkart's bill. After sales service is good in Pune. Will post a complete review in summer.

First of all, thanks to all the Flipkart reviewers of this product. I solely bought this product on your reviews. I thought of buying Carrier or Hitachi but they were not deliverable to my location, hence went with Godrej even though there were some negative reviews but then negative reviews were there for even the top brands I researched. I am new to AC, just recently learned through Internet about different aspects, so can't talk about the pros and cons in much detail but will lay out the important points. Pros: 1. Godrej's 10 year warranty for compressor (no other brand provides this much) and 5 year for condenser (not even mentioned by other brands). 2. Less power consumption (5 star rating and 3.5 EER). 3. Copper condenser. 4. Cooling is quick. 5. Trusted brand and service. 6. Best in this price range. 7. Free installation. Cons: 1. The biggest drawback I felt was with the remote. You don't have LED backlighting so it's hard to operate under dark during night (hope this is rectified in the future models by Godrej). Even the display is small. 2. Both IDU and ODU make low noises especially with high speed. I don't know if this is common with all ACs. Installation: Though Godrej promised free installation, the technicians charged 300 Rs. for drilling purposes. I had no issues with that because their work was of highest quality and they did everything themselves including cleaning the dust. Reason for Buying from Flipkart: I always go for Flipkart when I need to buy a costly and bigger item and which also requires good care and handling. So thanks Flipkart for delivering this product in good condition in just 2 days to my doorstep. They also raised a ticket with Godrej for installation, so I had to do nothing literally. Flipkart, you kept your reputation as the No. 1 when it comes to service.

Pros:: 1. Nice and eco friendly ac. 2. Prompt delivery by Flipkart 3. Price Cons:: 1. Ac price is same on Flipkart and At local dealer. 2. The display model is GSC 18 FG/A5WOG/5WPG/5WOG. But you get GSC 18FG5WOG model 3. Alluminium Condenser. 4. Remote no back light LED. 5. The Courier boy won't deliver at your door step. 6. Flipkart customer care executives are unaware of this product model and free installation service. 7.For installation you have to call to Godrej customer care . They will install within 48 hrs at free of cost. Conclusion :: Before buying check the price locally. Finally this is a good ac @ best price.
