Best in the market!
If you have plans buying a new A/C, please spend few mins to read this. And first thing to make clear for you is "This A/C is 5 Star in 2018 BEE table as well. When I started looking for an A/C I had several filters already applied in my mind which to some extent narrowed down my search criteria 1. It must be a 5 star rated 2. If possible inverter 5 star 3. Definitely not the one using R22 refrigerant which is not eco-friendly and currently outdated. 4. Must be less than 40k 5. Must have a good customer service. This narrowed down my search to few brands including carrier, daikin, Reconnect etc., But since the launch of NXW series by Godrej, I had a wish to buy it but that was too expensive (around 60k at the time of launch) and also nobody was recommending me Godrej ( sellers are not getting great margin and buyers are not aware of the features). So I was keeping it aside. But all of a sudden, new BEE rating table came into effect from Jan 1,2018, all 2017 A/Cs have lost their rating by 2 points. So 5 star became 3 star and 3 star have become 1 star and Thanks to all the A/C manufacturers. Most of them have not launched their 2018 5 star models yet. When I approached few shops they are not even ready to show me any 5 star models and Reliance Digital, in spite of having a 2018 5 star inverter Reconnect model did not show any interest selling it and did not even know about the specs of that model that was already in display. So final option was GODREJ NXW. But you might be wondering how that alone is 5 star. Yes GODREJ wanted to be way ahead in innovation. They innovated an A/C in 2016 that was designed to be 5 star until 2019. 1. It has 4.9 ISEER (above 4.5 is 5 star as per 2018 BEE standards) 2. When other manufacturers are just thinking of moving to R410A (Puron) refrigerant, Godrej has directly moved to R290 (Propane) which is way ahead and is the best refrigerant in the R & AC industry. 3. Inverter Technology 4. Comes with Free Standard Installation. Since the reviews were not good I had a dilemma. So I decided to reach out to Godrej via FB Messenger and sent a page long query list and their response was amazing. They did not miss even a single question. And finally the decision was made and thanks to Flipkart Cooling days and I was able to get 2k extra off Finally the A/C has arrived. Though Flipkart delivery executive made me wait for 3 hrs, I would still give 5 star since the package was handled perfectly. No damage and package was intact. Installation: Thank God. I received a wonderful technician who was very knowledgeable and I would rate 10 Star for his work. His service cannot be explained in words. Hats-off to that guy. And am happy I appreciated him upfront. And now the A/C is running very fine. So if someone says not to go for Godrej, think twice. Because by buying Godrej, you are buying an Indian product. And For additional info, they are the first in the industry to launch A/C with 5.8 & 6.15 ISEER which is 5 star standard for 2020. Pros: Literally everything. Price (Only if u buy from Flipkart), Power Consumption. Eco Friendly Refrigerant etc., Cons: Marketing strategies and techniques needs to be worked upon
