Samsung Galaxy A25 5G & Galaxy A15 5G Launched in India

Just as 2023 is about to end, Samsung has churned up a surprise for its fans in India. The brand held a short and sweet ‘My Kind of Awe-some’ launch event wherein Samsung launched two smartphones- Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, and Samsung Galaxy A15 5G. The smartphone like other mid-budget Samsung phones will offer good quality specs at affordable prices.

Samsung Galaxy A15 5G & Galaxy A25 5G: Price & Availability

Samsung Galaxy A15 5G will come in 2 storage models-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 19,499
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 22,499

It will come in Blue, Blue Black and Light Blue colors.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G will be available in 2 storage configurations-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 26,999
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 29,999

It will come in Blue Black, Blue, and Yellow shades.

Both smartphones will be available across Samsung.com, retail stores, and other online portals starting January 1, 2024.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G: Specs

The Galaxy A25 5G is powered by Exynos 1280 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. At the back, the smartphone has 3 camera lenses (50MP+8MP+2MP), and at the front is a 13MP selfie snapper. Under the hood, Galaxy A25 packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired charging capability. It has 5G connectivity and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G has a glossy prism pattern at the back that gives it a stunning look. It comes in Blue Black, Blue and Yellow shades.

Samsung Galaxy A15 5G: Specs

The more affordable Galaxy A15 5G sports the same 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display but with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Dimensity 6100+ chipset which recently powered Poco M6 and Redmi 13C smartphones. The battery and charging support is similar to Galaxy A25. The Galaxy A15 has a signature Galaxy design offering a premium feel. It has a glastic back panel with a haze finish and comes in Blue Black, Blue, and Light Blue shades.

At the back, there is a triple camera setup with a 50MP main, 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP auxiliary lens. The camera setup comes with features like single take, remaster, object eraser, image clipper, and more. At the top of the display is a 13MP lens for selfies and video calls. It is 5G capable and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for safety.

Both the newly launched Samsung phones run One UI 6 based on Android 14 OS. Samsung has confirmed 4 years of OS and 5 years of security patches for the devices.
