Unbearable Screen Tearing, Nonexistent Customer Support - Absolute Waste of Money!
I am utterly dismayed by the abysmal performance of the VU Masterpiece TV, which I purchased from Amazon. This TV has proven to be an absolute disaster, particularly for gaming enthusiasts like myself. The incessant screen tearing issue during VRR gameplay has transformed my gaming experience into a frustrating nightmare. To compound my frustration, Vu TV customer care has been an absolute letdown. Despite my repeated attempts to seek assistance, I have been met with deafening silence. It is infuriating to be ignored and left hanging, with no resolution or even a simple acknowledgement of my concerns. Adding insult to injury, the local dimming feature, is a complete joke. I find it preposterous that Vu TV customer support has the audacity to claim that local dimming settings cannot be customized due to VRR being enabled. The ability to adjust brightness and contrast should be a basic expectation for any TV, irrespective of the mode or feature in use. They claim even it cannot be changed when VRR Enabled What's even more baffling is the lack of updates for this TV. Despite being on the market for over a year, Vu has failed to address the VRR issues plaguing this product. Their feeble excuse of awaiting a Google update for the VRR fix is nothing short of a lame attempt to shift blame and avoid taking responsibility. Considering the exorbitant price tag of 94999 that I paid for this TV, I feel utterly cheated. The combination of screen tearing, nonfunctional local dimming, absence of updates, and pathetic customer support make this TV an absolute nightmare. I strongly advise against wasting your hard-earned money on this worthless product. Customers deserve better than this shoddy excuse for a TV.
