Totally worth the money spent
This is an outstanding fridge. I am rating it after using it for 5 months. Ofcourse I am writing this review for the future buyers, but specially because these reviews provides quite a good insightful information about the product, infact I also decided this fridge by going through reviews from amazon and flipkart, I finally purchased it from flipkart. Thus I am just contributing to the facts. Really a class product by Bosch (demo and installation is a bit delayed). good delivery by flipkart. Works perfectly, cools really quick, not even a slight deposit of ice anywhere. The vegetables in the lowest vegetable section remains quite fresh throughout the week. During the power shutdown, it keeps things cool for 10+ hours. From the looks perspective: very simple and elegant looking, no fancy like the fashionable samsungs and onidas, exactly what I was looking for. I have seen quite a few people complaints about problem in opening the bigger door when the door was closed just now. Would just want to add here is that it's not a problem but it's way how it works, (though it's not a feature either) as soon as you close the big door, a sort of air tight seal happens in the gaskit. And if you'd try to open it immediately, you will need to put so much force and you might eventually end up displacing the fridge altogether from it's position. Work around: First (which is also recommended) try not to open the door too frequently, if you know you just gotta reopen it after 30 seconds, keep it open and actually close it once you are all done. The fridge comes with door alarm, which creates a sharp beep if you don't close both the doors after 2 minutes. If at all you do need to open the fridge immediately, first open the smaller door (which doesn't get locked as the bigger one), opening this door is easy and then it will also release all the air seal and the bigger door will be free to open. I hope this review will do a little help for you in making the decision. One thing I can assure you is if you will purchase this product (or any Bosch model), you are surely not going to regret.
