South Korean major, Samsung launched its much-awaited smartphones Galaxy S9 and S9+. The handset succeeds the previous generation Galaxy S8 with a better chipset, innovative hardware and feature-rich software. As for the specification, the Galaxy S9+ comes with a 6.2-inch Quad HD (1440X2960 pixels) AMOLED screens with a slight curve at the edges and 18.5:9 screen aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 9810 processor, which is equivalent to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 SoC. The chipset is paired with 6GB of RAM and 256GB and 256GB storage space, respectively. In optics, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ packs a dual-rear camera setup, which comprises of dual-12-megapixel sensors with a variable aperture (f/1.5 and f/2.4) and the ability to shoot slow-mo video at 960 frames per second. Up front, it has an 8MP sensor with F/1.7 aperture lens. You can also use the cameras to create your animation Emoji. The Samsung Galaxy S9+ runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Experience UI on top and is aided by 3,500mAh battery that has fast as well as wireless charging support. It measures 147.70 x 68.70 x 8.50 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 163.00 grams. In terms of connectivity, the handset includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5 (LE up to 2Mbps), GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC, and MST. Sensors on the phone are Accelerometer, Barometer, Fingerprint Sensor, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Heart Rate Sensor, Proximity Sensor, RGB Light Sensor, Iris Sensor, and Pressure Sensor. You can best buy the Samsung Galaxy S9+ at Rs. 64,900 and Rs. 72,900, accordingly. The phone will go on sale in from March 16 onwards and could be purchased from Flipkart, Samsung Store and offline stores.
