The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is a part of the company's latest mid-range A series. Apart from a big 5.7-inch AMOLED display, the 2017 version of the A7 includes a metal frame, a 3D glass back and a lot more.
Running on Android 6.0.16 Marshmallow, the A7 is powered by a 1.9 Ghz Octa-core Exynos chipset combined with 3GB RAM. It features a 16MP rear camera as well as a 16MP front camera, both of whom feature F/1.9 aperture lenses. The A7 has an internal storage capacity of 32GB which can be further extended upto 256GB using a MicroSD card. It also offers IP68 water and dust resistance - a first when it comes to Samsung's A series.
The phone is powered by a 3,600 mAh battery and also provides fast charging facility to the customers. The loudspeaker is unconventionally placed on right edge - something which worked for us just fine on the Galaxy J7 Prime. In addition, the A7 also features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v 4.2, ANT+, USB Type-C,and NFC.
Samsung Galaxy A7 offers premium design and flagship experience to mid-range buyers. The phone is slated to hit Indian market later this month and the new Galaxy A7 (2017) price in India is expected to be around 28,999 INR.
