The Moto E series was originally meant to provide speedy software updates and a quality smartphone experience to entry level buyers. But over the years, the Moto E's have evolved and the focus has been on the big batteries for the last two iterations. The new Moto E4 Plus treads the same path and brandishes a 5000mAh battery.
Compared to the usual stuff, the Moto E4 Plus design does make it stand out, even when it's no longer new (Moto G5, G5 Plus, Moto Z2 Play all follow the same approach, or at least make it look redundant at this point in time).
Moto E4 Plus performance hinges on MT6737 quad-core processor ticking at 1.3GHz. The basic CPU is paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage. The Moto E4 Plus has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 720p HD resolution protected by scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3.
The new Moto phone has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture lens and a 5MP selfie camera. On the software front, the handset comes with nearly stock Android 7.0 Nougat with a few customizations on top. Other features include 4G VoLTE support, fingerprint sensor, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.3 LE, Dolby Atmos audio and fast charging.
The Moto E4 Plus India price will be revealed on July 12, 2017. You can subscribe to Moto E4 Plus updates to get alerts regarding Moto E4 Plus price cuts in India.
