I bought this phone through my account for a colleague. The phone took 'longer' than 'usual' to come, but was still inside the delivery date, so can't really complain. Now about the phone(i've only used it for a while): Pros: 1. Huge battery... 1800 mAh, even smartphones don't get 1800 mAh. If this is actually true, you don't have to charge it for days. 2. LOUD sound, so loud it's practically bad. Sound quality is not good. 3. Basic interface. Easy to use and operate. Reminds you of good ol' Nokia. 4. There's a camera too. It just takes picture, nothing else. 5. It has 4 gb data card support, and bluetooth too. In a box you find a unique usb-come-charger (nice concept i have to say). 6. Earphone free fm. Cons: 1. Nothing is good, it's just there. Built quality is pathetic, hard plastic rattles even in the new phone. Not meant to last like old nokias. Interface is easy, but has a look of cheap mp4 players. 2. 95 kb internal memory. If you plan not to buy a memory card, practically you cannot even take a photo. 3. Earphone that comes with it is pathetic. Even 50 bucks local earphone sounds better. It's just loud. 4. FM reception is very poor, it cannot receive signals even where other mobiles or devices catch loud and clear. Only works outdoor. All in all, I'd rather buy a cheap nokia and let go some feature than having this phone. If you just want a backup phone, and wanna use it only for making calls, then I guess you might consider it.

Wonderful phone for low budget people
I previously had Micromax X250 which was pathetic. No battery backup. The reason for me to buy it was because of the wireless FM but that did not work properly. I was looking to buy Samsung or LG low budget phone but the shopkeeper to try this option. I was initially skeptical because of the past experience with X250 but this X274 had great features of Wireless FM(but you should hold in your hand for good FM experience. Dont put it down in your bed or bench). The battery backup is amazing gives easily to 5 days. Reminds me of the old Nokia 1100. This phone is really awesome with all advanced features except 3G and Android. Micromax you had really setup great expectations now for the Indian customers. Hope you really come up well in the future with cost effective phones.
