Terrific
Review from an Audio Engineer Industry Standard for a reason. Compared with my Audio Technica ATH M40X and i was spellbound by the difference. ATH is very flat which is good but doesn't represent the low end like a pair of monitor does in a room. Sony on the other hand has much better lows. It gives you a feel of far field monitors throwing air into your face. So realistic. I didn't feel like wearing a headphone. Felt like standing in front of some wall mounted monitors since I know how bigger monitor sounds. Very lightweight and comfortable. Mids and Highs are so good that made me smile instantly. Cons : Handle With Care. Not at all sturdy as compared to my M40X. Feels cheap on hand but who cares if you handle well it will serve you like 10 long years. Tip : Don't drive loud. Pushing harder generates a little distortion which is common for headphones with lower impedance. Thank You for reading.
