Clean CRISP audio...

I have always wanted to get some real expensive headphones because I was tired of cheap priced headphones, among which the best ones I tried under 2000 was Sony MDR Xb400... Neverthless, I'm highly technoholic and always wanted to purchase the Audio Technica ATH-M50X....but I could never afford to pay about 10k for headphones...and hence I shifted to get these instead because I got it for a discount @ 5600. And allow me to quote for the record...they SOUND PHENOMENAL. Absolutely clear crisp music....and you get to experience certain amazing beats which you won't believe existed based on previous mediocre heads because Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's plays RICH ACCURATE music ...its designed for critical listening and sounds exactly how the original music was designed by the artist. Build wise they honestly look pretty COOOL! I know it looks a little bulky and too formal and not like those fashion statement headphones and I ordered these keeping that sacrifice in mind...but I was surprised to notice that these actually look PRETTY GOOD in real scenario...better than skullcandy crushers for a fact.... And even though it's made of plastic I can PROMISE you it's some hardcore rigid plastic which is certainly gonna last you 3-5 years or more.....the only probable dissatisfaction I felt was that the bass response isn't that pleasing...but you really can't help it because these headphones aren't designed for that...however it'd have been an impeccable headphone if it had more heavy bass kick...if you're a bass enthusiast...this isn't for you.... They're pretty comfy to wear too...made of some spongy material for the ear cups and the head band....but you get used to them quickly. I would happily recommend this to anyone who generally loves listening to music...its frequency response is also really good..not to forget that these are light weight Design : 8/10 (trust me they look really good) Sound : 9/10 (if only it had a little more bass...would be perfect 10) Comfort : 7/10 Build Quality : 10/10 Overall : 8.5/10

Unparalled sound in its price rance

Sound rating: 9/10 Build quality rating: 10/10 Comfort: 7/10 The only gripe I have with this is the size of the headset cable. Also am not a great fan of the swiveling pockets. The headphone is pretty bulky too. Note: This headphone is not meant for the bass heavy listeners. Its actually decent for audiophiles. Overall: This is a brilliant headphone to have when you aren't moving around too much. But with this, movement is going to be a big issue. I couldn't use this comfortably in the bus I travel to for work. But all issues aside, sound quality wise I have heard none other !
