Wonderful

I have been using these headphones for quite a while and one thing I can easily say is that they sound great. But if you are a bass lover then these headphones are not for you. Here, By any means it doesn't mean that bass in these headphones are bad , it's just not boosted as compared to other headphones because of studio setup ( As expected from a Studio Grade Headphones ) On the other hand if you are a true music lover who wants to listen to clear audio of music these are the best headphones you can get . There is very very very low chances sound distortion because of their sound accuracy. Great for music Artists tho' . For an average user these are more then what you expected it to be. You can hear things that you never heard before in music as well as watching movies or any other media consumption. So the experience become great. Also they are a bit on heavy side because after some time you can feel the weight of the headphones on your head but ear comfort is great due to cushioning because it covers your ears completely. That's why their is technically no sound leak plus you can't hear for outside as you play music.( Do not expect them to be as Good as the ANC , because they don't have any and also you aren't going to complain about the ANC after you use them ). Also build quality is just a little more than average . If you want to compare them with other headphones then it's nearest competitor is Audio Technical M50x which is almost double of its price. But at last choice is up to you. If you are confused between OneOdio Pro-30 and Pro-50, Go with Pro-50 because their is less price difference between these two ( only if you can extend your budget). Otherwise Pro-30 is also great.

Moderate

Edit: This was my problem with the first unit: The side with the connection is louder than the side using the inter-driver wiring. When you have the 3.5mm socket in use, the right side is louder and when using the 6.35 on the left headphone, the left side is louder. Obviously the wire connecting the two sides is too weak to carry full signal (I measure 3 ohms - that's 10% signal loss or about 1dB which feels about right) and is dropping the level. The problem is most noticeable in the low bass, where the current is maximal. Edit: This is more or less the same for my replacement pair: Anyway, to the headphones. They look nice and seem comfortable. The 3.5-3.5 has an inline mic, with a mute button. Never bothered with it, so YMMV. The 3.5-6.35 has a small coil, about a couple feet. The band is comfy but a bit small. For most 'regular' cans I don't need to ever open them up. These are meant for smaller heads and I have about 4 clicks out. After the replacement (which is a separate sordid saga) the new unit doesn't have the channel imbalance problem, but the headphones are droopy - they flop down to horizontal position and are pretty loose. This is not a bad thing overall, but is disconcerting and troublesome when taking the headphones off - they can knock your specs to the floor. The new unit also had some crushed pads but hopefully those will go back into their regular position is time. The midrange is very rough - remember these are exactly the same as the cheaper -10 and -30 headphones, just fancier packaging mad jewelry - so the sound quality is that of a 2k headphone. What you pay for is the better padding, which also moves the diaphragm away from the ear, thus resulting in a more prominent bass and a loss of detail and resolution in the midrange and treble. Sound quality is a solid 3 out of 5 - very average. Heavy V-curve, absolutely useless for mixing, neither for Studio nor Pro. The AKG K92 are better overall for monitoring and studio work due to better resolution. The mids are slightly elevated on that one and the bass is not as pronounced either. Senns sometimes show up close to the price point and are far superior. I had the HD280 which would wipe the floor with these. For bassheads this is a good choice, though the iClever HS18 is a quarter the price and the bass is just as good. With the lack of support and the very tough replacement process on FK, you should really get something else. There are just too many good contenders and it is outflanked and outperformed very easily. And never pay full price for these cans. They're just not worth 4k. Probably 3k tops, so I did overpay even on sale.
