Google Pixel Buds Pro Details

Google Pixel Buds Pro is a premium earbuds with high-end features like a custom audio chipset, 11mm drivers, wireless charging support, a “silent seal” feature that enhances noise cancellation, up to 31 hours of playback, etc. Previously, Google unleashed the Pixel Buds and Pixel Buds A-series TWS which managed to gather buyers ‘attention. Let’s read more about these earbuds and see how they differ from their siblings

Google Pixel Buds Pro Design and Comfort

Google Pixel Buds Pro is a premium TWS with a decent design, it has mentos-shaped buds with pointy ear tips. The buds have a polycarbonate finish on them and are available in fog, charcoal, lemongrass, and coral color options. Google claims that the earbuds are convenient to wear and offer a better fitting with their flexible ear tips and adaptive design. Also, the buds support touch gesture that makes it easier to control playback, callings, and other tasks.

Google Pixel Buds Pro Sound and Features

Google Pixel Buds Pro earbuds load 11mm, dynamic speaker drivers, along with a custom audio chip that promises to enhance the listening experience. Also, there are 3 microphones, a voice accelerometer, and a wind-blocking mesh cover installed on each of the buds for better audio calling. On top of that, it has got an active noise cancellation with a “silent seal” feature that cuts the maximum of the ambient noise.

The earbuds bring volume EQ that automatically adjusts tuning when volume goes up or down and offers a balanced sound. Moreover, it has a built-in Google Voice assistant that does tasks like dialing calls, controlling the music player, get weather forecasts, etc. Besides, the earbuds have an IPX4 rating that protects them from dust and splashes and the case got an IPX2 rating.

Google Pixel Buds Pro Battery and Connectivity

Google Pixel Buds Pro can deliver up to 31 hours of nonstop music listening along with its charging case, Google claims. The buds support fast charging – a little of 5-minutes of charging assures an hour of playback with ANC on, and with 15 minutes of charging time, the earbuds last up to 3 hours. Besides, it gets juice via a Type-C cable and also supports Qi wireless charging.

The connectivity options of the earbuds are Bluetooth 5 with up to 10-meters of wireless range and a Type-C charging port. Besides, the earbuds are compatible with any Bluetooth 4.0 device (iOS, Android, tablet, etc).

Fair

The buds pro was good but the pricing is so high it's like definitely everyone will agree, that this is not worth the price by any means at all. The design is ok but there was a tight seal and mainly the audio quality was not so impressive. Even the oppo enco x is better than this and that will be available for less than 10k compared to this. That's huge... right ? google overpricing their products. The bass and the overall sound signature is more than average like rating will be A-. I expected an A+ performance for this price. Literally disappointed.

Just wow!

I normally don't review unless something stand out and this one is. Watched it after viewing all the reviews... Wanted something which stand out with all or most of the functionality without touching your pocket to reach out to your phone. It has all of them. Best part is the noise cancellation and transparency mode which can help you adjust the sound mode as per the surrounding. Mic quality is crystal clear even in crowded area. Range is pretty good... Charging happens quickly and more than 1 day will go easily with this battery. Spatial audio is mind boggling... sorry but still trying to find a cons... i guess Price... In love with it

Mind-blowing purchase

A beautifully executed tws. I found it very comfortable to wear. A bit healthy in size, but sound it produces,ah! I can hear every bit of music there. Bass is punchy but never overpowering. Connectivity is very good, very fast. Call quality is OK. Gestures are good. ANC is splendid. Loving the buds with its transparency mode.
