For home use Only.. Not for hard use..
i have been using this laptop for 2 months from now. Used in home, for video watching, surfing, very low level games. Pros: 1. For home use only.. not for heavy documentation, project work etc.., 2. Zero heating problem.. Laptop doesn't get heat emission... 3. Awesome battery.. watched movies for 3 hours also without plugging 4. Built, can be made better, but still OK OK type. [better than Acer, my previous laptop] 5. I dont know about HD, 1080 and all, but the display is pretty decent.. 5.1 video are good to watch. [sound from laptop speaker is pretty less. but clear enough] 6. windows 8.1, nice to use.. but still u wont get amazed.. its all same windows feel.. 7. No microsoft office, but came with lot of small small tools and games.. [atleast u can start using the laptop without waiting for any installation] 8. [Dint try to update any drivers from HP] 9. Crash..? restart...? dint happen to be even once.. [sometime it depends on which application u use] 10. easy to carry Cons: keyboard is always a problem, not now, but i doubt that keyboard may get damaged soon while playing games.. the keys are very soft... With all these chipset and ram i thought the speed will be super fast, but still there is a lag while dragging the mouse one 5gb video from DVD takes 20 minutes, if u are not in urgent, never mind this.. C: drive only.. i dint try to partition I really doubt this laptop can be used for heavy usage.. like project works which need various installation and continues use of keyboard/mouse and ram usage. but for just video watching, surfing, gmail,facebook etc.. its a good one..

I got this laptop one and half months back. So far it works good and happy with the price I got this product. Battery backup is excellent - easily it gives 4 hrs of backup... Performance - Quiet Ok, some time lags but my observation is it is due to the background software updates going on. Other time , it works pretty well but again, I did not try any heavy load. Quiet comfortable to use, light weight, sleek .... but glossy Overall my rating is 4 for this considering its performance and Price range
