Body - The body is fully plastic (but sturdy plastic). I bought this laptop for about 83k from the seller TBL online i believe. The specs that i have are - i5-10300H (yeah i know its 14nm intel processor, but i guess its okay for me cuz i have plans to use linux as well later and ryzen still does not have good support for linux , although i'm not sure on this one). SSD - 512GB SSD GPU - 1660Ti Battery - 90Wh Screen - 250nits brightness (but matt finish helps a lot for viewing, like i have to use this laptop at 60% brightness to get the desired brightness for indoor usage, with my previous hp pavilion x360 which also had peak brightness of 250nits, i had to turn up the brightness upto 90% to get comfortable cuz that had a glossy display). Till now i have installed stuff like Bitdefender Total security and some games. The Fps in games are as follows : Hitman 2 (2018 edition) - 100Fps minimum with directx 12 and 120fps average (do note that the game starts by default with directx-11, which was giving me only 40-50 fps, but when i changed it to directx-12 , the FPS at 1080p - all highest settings - went straight from 40 minimum to 100 minimum.) Apex Legends - This laptop gave me 60FPS locked framerate without any stuttering/lags at 1080p highest settings so no complains there either. CSGO - Yeah ... here the fps were not so good. The FPS that i was getting was like from 150 (for deathmatch) to 200+ all the time in competitive mode - and because its a CPU bound game not a GPU bound game, the FPS that i was getting was almost the same for all resolutions from 768p to 1080p on 16:9 aspect ratio (i guess the GPU can handle upto 1080p easily, but because its a CPU bound game, the CPU was being the bottleneck so almost same FPS across multiple resolutions). But i am happy, cuz even on Deathmatch i was getting 150+ fps all the time (except for when my connection was lagging... and connection lagging is definitely not laptop's fault xD) BATTERY BACKUP : So its a 90wh battery uh ? - This is the reason i purchased this laptop at 83k frankly, otherwise would not have purchased this laptop. I tested the battery for real world usage and with 90Wh capacity and 180w charging speed - the figures were something like this : PDF Reading with Wifi and bluetooth Off and screen brigthess of about 60% - i got 8hrs and 30 minutes, and still 10% battery was left at this point. Chrome browsing and Onedrive downloading at background with speed 15MegaByte per second in background - Wifi and bluetooth ON - about 5 hrs and 30 minutes (and still had 10% battery left). I didnt do any more battery testing cuz this much was enough for me. Mainly the battery drains fast if Wifi is connected(but even with draining fast it still gives backup of 5hr30mins with 10% still remaining at 60% brightness). I will do 1 more test with Ethernet connected rather than Wifi and will probably update this review. Regarding charging speed - with the 180W charger provided to me , i was getting a charging speed of 50% in 30 mins and 77% charging in about 1 hour (with me using the laptop for browsing/video streaming with Wifi on and 60% brightness) - so Charging is pretty fast. Software : There are mainly 3 software in this 1. Armoury crate - This is used to set performance profile of the laptop (like silent mode, performance mode and turbo mode). Lightening of keyboard is also controlled by this software. 2. My asus - This app has ability to limit the battery's charging to balanced mode(80% charging limit), always plugged-in Mode(60% charging limit) and full capacity mode(charges the laptop to full 100% battery capacity). 3. DTS Ultra - When you plug in headphone/earphone - you can use this app to set different profile for hearing footsteps in FPS games or for Music etc. UPDATE : LAN Backup time is 7 hrs 30 mins at 60% brightness, using the laptop on LAN rather than Wifi increases the battery backup by 2 hrs (while doing web browsing and downloading in background at 15MBPS).
