Xolo continues to focus on the entry segment, and that’s what the Era 2X design clearly reflects. The Xolo Era 2X flaunts an all-plastic exterior with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It isn’t a shoddy phone, but befitting to its price, it isn’t a premium Android either.

The fingerprint sensor can register up to 5 fingers. Apart from securing the device, a user can assign different tasks to each one of the stored fingerprints like tap to snap an image, launch an app or perhaps receive calls.

The Era 2X features a 5-inch HD IPS display and enthralls on a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. However, to buy 3GB RAM variant one will have to shell out Rs. 7,499.

The Era 2X camera optics include an 8-megapixel primary shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largon lens, blue glass filter and single LED flash. The rear camera can also record time-lapse videos. Up front, the phone sports a conventional 5-megpaixel selfie snapper.

On the software front, the Era 2X comes out of the box running on Android Marshmallow OS. The phone is aided by a 2,500mAh removable battery which, as per the company claims, can offer up to 14 days of standby time on single charge.

We are very excited at the launch of XOLO Era 2X-our first Era smartphone with fingerprint sensor. Ever since the launch of Era series around one and half years back, catering to the needs of tech enthusiastic millennials, we have endeavored to deliver great smartphone experience for XOLO customers. With Era 2X XOLO offers a bouquet of benefits like security, performance, experience & convenience to its users.
