Xiaomi Redmi and Vivo TWS earbud to launch in the coming week

Major smartphone brands are proactively launching and upgrading their true wireless portfolio. Redmi and Vivo are gearing up to launch new TWS buds on May 26 and June 1, respectively.

Xiaomi Redmi Airdots

Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of another truly wireless earbuds for the Indian market on May 26. Interestingly, the Redmi event will be on the very next day of the Realme mega event where the company will introduce 8 new products. Earlier, Xiaomi presented True Wireless Earphones 2 under its premium Mi Brand for Rs 4,499.

The company has not revealed the name of the upcoming product but rumors claim it to be Redmi Airdots. Last month in China, Redmi Airdots S was launched at 99 yuan (around $14). We expect upcoming buds to be a rebranded version for the Indian market. Since the teaser is out, we can presume that more details should be revealed soon.

Vivo TWS Neo Earbuds

Vivo took to Weibo to announce the launch date of Vivo TWS Neo. The official Vivo account shared a video teaser to promote the upcoming product. There will be two color options from these earbuds, the video suggests.

The teaser also claims that the Vivo TWS Neo will offer lower latency and high-quality audio output. Most of the budget range TWS earphones fail to convey the promised quality while streaming videos and playing games. We will have to wait and watch for what Vivo does differently.  

As of now, there are no official details of Vivo earbud’s arrival in India, but de do expect them to land in the country sooner or later.
