Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its next in the Redmi Number Series. The brand is all set to launch Xiaomi Redmi 13 5G, the next budget smartphone and successor to 2023’s Redmi 12 5G. The launch will take place on 9th July 2024 in India and Xiaomi has shared the launch invite featuring Nora Fatehi who’s showing the smartphone off. The company claims Redmi 13 5G to be a combination of stunning looks, and lighting fast 5G speed. The launch time is 12 PM IST.

Xiaomi Redmi 13 5G: Confirmed Details
The Xiaomi Redmi 13 5G will have a crystal glass design and it will be the first in the segment to have dual-sided glass. There will be Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for durability at the front. It will come in pink and blue hues as shown in teasers.

The confirmed specifications of Redmi 13 5G include a 108MP main camera sensor at the back along with a 5030mAh battery under the hood. There will be 33W wired fast charging as well. The smartphone is claimed to get the largest display on a 5G device in the segment. It will be powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and has a punch-hole screen at the front with a sleek chin.
The smartphone looks similar to the Redmi Note 13R which was announced in China a month ago. It was launched with a 6.79-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen, IP53 ratings, and an 8.32mm sleek design. Redmi Note 13 5G might also feature these specs.

Redmi 13 5G: Expected Price
To recall, the ancestor of Redmi 13 5G was launched for Rs. 11,999 in India, so it is also expected to be priced along similar lines. The budget smartphone will be sold via Amazon,Mi.com and offline stores post-launch.
