The tablet market all over the world is growing at a fast pace. Last year, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi Pad 5 in the Indian market, which has been available in the global market since 2021. Following that, Xiaomi also rolled out the Mi Pad in the Indian market. In a recent development, tipster Mukul Sharma revealed that Xiaomi is planning to launch the Xiaomi Pad 6 series. The latest tablet series from Xiaomi will consist of two devices – Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.

According to the tweet by Mukul Sharma, the internal testing of both tablets has already started. They are being tested in the Eurasian and European regions. Speculations are that Xiaomi will launch both devices by the second quarter of 2023. We can say without a doubt the brand will offer many improvements in the Xiaomi Pad 6 series compared to its predecessor. It is also in the air that the tablets will include a Snapdragon 8xx processor, which we can figure out it is an 800 series chipset.

Keeping in mind that the Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with Snapdragon 865 processor, we can get to see the upcoming tablets carrying Snapdragon 870 or Snapdragon 888 SoC. Previously, the codename given to the Xiaomi Pad 6 was Pipa, and for Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro was Liuqin. The Pro variant will be exclusive to China, similar to the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 could ship with an IPS LCD display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet may run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor paired with high-capacity RAM and an apt amount of storage. The dimensions of the display have not been confirmed until now. Speculations are that both variants will carry around 11 or 12-inch panels. They will flaunt a dual rear camera setup along with features like quad speakers, a keyboard, and NFC.
