Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Redmi K60 Extreme Edition, Pad 6 Max & More Launched in China: Details Inside

Tech giant Xiaomi hosted its August launch event in China yesterday wherein the brand announced a host of new products that claim to take innovation to the next level. The company launched the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 which is one of the thinnest phones in the market along with Redmi K60 Extreme Edition for robust performance, The phones were accompanied by Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and Xiaomi Band 8 Pro as well. Read on to know about each of these products in detail.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3: Features

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 has an 8.03-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2600 peak brightness. There is a cover display as well that is a 6.56-inch screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 2600 nits brightness, Dolby Vision, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The foldable is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and packs a 4800mAh battery with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging capability. At the back are a 50MP main, 12MP Ultrawide, 10MP telephoto, and a 10MP periscope lens. Connectivity options include USB 3.2 and IR blaster. The phone is around 260 grams thick.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3: Price

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 comes in 3 options black and gold, which have a glass back. The third option is black in color but has a composite fiber back. It comes in the following configurations-

  • 12GB RAM+256G- RMB 8999 (Rs. 1,03,100)
  • 16GB RAM+512G- RMB 9999 (Rs. 1,15,102)
  • 16GB RAM+1TB- RMB 10,999 (Rs. 1,26,613)

Redmi K60 Extreme Edition: Specs

The Redmi K60 Extreme Edition comes in black, green, and white colors. It sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 2600 nits brightness. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset and packs a 5000mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging. The smartphone has a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 20MP selfie camera as well. The device is 8.49mm thick and weighs 240 grams.

Redmi K60 Extreme Edition: price

It will be available in the following storage models-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB Storage- RMB 2599 (Rs, 29,900)
  • 16GB RAM+256GB storage- RMB 2799 (Rs. 32,200)
  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage- RMB 2999 (Rs. 34,522)
  • 16GB RAM+1TB storage- RMB 3299 (Rs. 37,976)
  • 24GB RAM+1TB storage- RMB 3599 (Rs. 41,429)

As of now, both these smartphones will only be available in the China market, but the global launch might take place sometime next month.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Max: Features

Xiaomi Pad 6 Max sports a 14-inch 2.8K LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It runs MIU 14 based on Android 13 and is 6.53mm thick.

At the front is a 20MP selfie camera while at the back is a 50MP main camera. The keyboard is detachable and the stylus is optional. The Pad packs 8 speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 10,000mAh battery under the hood with 67W fast charging support. The Pad 6 max can also be used as a power bank as it supports 33W reverse charging.

  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- RMB 3799 (Rs. 43,800)
  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- RMB 3999 (Rs. 46,000)
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage- RMB 4399 (Rs. 50, 400)
  • 16GB RAM+1TB storage- RMB 4799 (Rs. 55,000)

The tablet comes in black and silver shades.

Xiaomi Band 8 Pro: Features

The wearable Xiaomi Band 8 Pro has a rectangular dial with a 1.74-inch AMOLED display and over 100 watch faces and 10 straps to choose from.

It comes with health monitoring features like heart rate tracking, blood oxygen saturation, sleep tracking, and female health tracking. There is also an ambient light sensor, optical heart rate sensor, and more. Connectivity options include GNSS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and more. The band packs a 289mAh battery and comes with a 5ATM rating for water resistance.

Xiaomi Band 8 Pro: Price

The Xiaomi Band 8 Pro costs RMB 399 (Rs. 4,570) for the TPU Wristband variant in black and coconut ash colors. The Band costs CNY 499 for the leather wristband option in blue shade.
