The Mi Mix II, as it is being called, will be designed by the French designer Philippe Starck, who was at the design helm with the original Mi Mix as well.

This time round, the phone is expected to feature an even higher screen-to-body ratio as compared its hugely popular predecessor, which was a big hit despite featuring a very unique design and hitting only the Chinese market.

Seemingly, the display of the phone will cover its front in its entirety and come without any physical button at all (on the front, that is).

Mobile enthusiasts all over the world are trying to make sense of the situation from the single post made by Jun and according to what we could gather, the talks of the phone having a similar design as the upcoming iPhone 8 are rife.

Just to keep you in the loop, the original Mi Mix features a bezel-less design and first came out alongside the company’s Mi Note 2 smartphone.

It flaunts a ceramic body and was marketed with claims of 93% screen-to-body ratio which didn’t hold water (the real figure was approx 86 percent). The original Mi Mix makes use of ultrasonic technology and Cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system, thereby allowing the users to attend calls without an earpiece.
