Xiaomi Mi A2 Spotted With Snapdragon 660 SoC On A Swiss Site

Xiaomi Mi A2 is one of the most awaited phones of the year as it will once again bring together Xioami’s affordable hardware and Google’s stock Android in one complete package. With this expectation, the Mi A2 has been a making round in rumour mills and leaks. now once again, the alleged Mi A2 has been leaked in full glory on a Swiss website called digittec.ch revealing almost everything about the phone.

As per the Swiss website, the Xiaomi Mi A2 will be going on sale from August 8th, 2018. The listing points out that the Mi A2 base variant 32GB internal storage variant to retail at 289 Euro, the 64GB variant is for about 329 EUR and the 128GB internal storage variant is for 369 Euro.

As per the description and specification mentioned on the Swiss website, the Mi A2 is going to be an Android One version of the Mi 6X with identical specs. It will come with a 5.99-inch full HD+ screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone will feature thick bezels on the top and bottom of the screen. Like the Mi 6X, A2 is also listed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC under the hood.

It is worth mentioning here that as per Qualcomm, the 660 chipset offers about 20 percent improved performance over the Snapdragon 636 SoC. Like Mi A1, its successor too gets a dual rear camera setup on the back but this time it will be a 20-megapixel sensor (f/1.75 aperture) paired with a 12-megapixel telephoto lens (f/1.75 aperture). Like Mi 6X, it will also get a 20-megapixel selfie camera based on Sony IMX376. The Mi A2 listing on Swiss site reveals that the phone will come bundled with an 18W charger for 3,010 mAh battery.
