HMD Global or Nokia set off with its grand comeback last year from the MWC stage. Naturally, the company will put all its might to keep the ball rolling and put its best foot forward on February 25, ahaed of MWC 2018.

Going by the proliferous leaks, there are a number of Nokia phones in the making, and many of these will be unveiled at the forthcoming tech trade fair. Here’s the complete list of upcoming Nokia phones that are expected to launch at MWC 2018 in Barcelona.

Nokia 1: New Entry-Level Phone

HMD Global has made plans to replace its entry-level phone Nokia 2 with the Nokia 1 at this year’s MWC. The device is anticipated to be powered by Android Go, which is the lightweight UI exclusively designed for less powerful hardware. Android Go has been designed to make inexpensive phones faster and smoother, or in other words, usable.

Other than this, the new Nokia 1 is destined to come with an entry-grade MediaTek or Qualcomm entry-level SoC paired with minimum 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in storage.

Nokia 6 (2018): Refreshing Affordable Phone

Moving on, Nokia, last month, launched its second-generation of Nokia 6 in China. The device comes with few iteration that improves the phone’s overall appeal and performance as compared to its predecessor. If things go as per plan then HMD Global will unveil the global variant of Nokia 6 (2018) at MWC Barcelona.

As for the specifications, the Nokia 6 (2018) employs Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage and runs on Android Oreo straight out of the box. For shutterbugs, the phone has a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP selfie shooter.

Nokia 8 Sirocco: Flagship Phone

Nokia 8 was announced last year in October by HMD Global. Till date, it is Nokia’s flagship phone that boasts high-end specs like Snapdragon 835 processor and dual-cameras with features like Carl Zeiss optics and ‘Bothie’. Now, the company might be upgrading the device with the launch of 2018 Nokia 8 Sirocco edition.

The new Nokia 8 Sirocco will not vary a lot compared from its predecessor in terms of looks. However, the phone will come with mighty innards like Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM, and a slightly bigger 3,250mAh battery.

Nokia 7 Plus: New Mid-range Phone

A report by IT Homes hint at the possible arrival of the new phone, Nokia 7 Plus at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. Courtesy of the leaked image, the design, features, and specification of the phone was revealed ahead of official launch.

According to the leak, the Nokia 7 Plus could be Nokia’s first phone with 18:9 display ratio and dual-camera that offers up to 2X zoom. The phone is expected to come with Android One and will be powered by Snapdragon 660 coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB.

Nokia 9: Premium Phone

HMD Global’s long-rumored flagship phone, Nokia 9, is also on the cards. Once launched, this will be Nokia’s first premium phone with top-end specifications.

Talking about the specifications, the premium Nokia 9 will rock Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset – the most advanced processor as of now. In optics, the phone is expected to come with 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup and 5-megapixel selfie camera.

  1. Nokia is again repeating old mistakes by NOT Launching new Nokia6 (2018) 4GB RAM 64GB ROM in INDIA.

    Bcoz old Nokia6 32GB ROM with Hybrid Sim slot is useless & poor storage space.

    Its useless to show-off in MWC rather to launch in market.
    Nokia is again slow.?
