Toyota Introduces 1.5L and 2.0L Engines with Record-Breaking Mileage: Price And Specification

Toyota Company is preparing for a new revolution in the automotive business, 1. 5-litre and 2. 0-litre engines that will give much better fuel economy and it is one of the most effective outcomes of any type of car manufacturer’s technology. These new powertrains are seen as ICE but more advanced in that they promise a thermal efficiency that is 30-50% higher, which is a revolution in the car manufacturing industry.

Toyota’s Hybrid Focus

On the other hand, Nissan has already established what is called ‘e-Power’ system with thermal efficiency reaching to 50%, the system where ICE engine is employed mainly in the role of the generator to charge the battery that is used to power the car’s wheels.

Insights from Hydrogen Technology

Engines of hydrogen-powered vehicles benefited from Toyota’s engineers that successfully utilized their experiences to enhance engine heat efficiency. Among the key changes in the new engines it is possible to note the reduction of the piston stroke, which was an effective but obviously rather difficult in technical terms decision. This shorter stroke also plays an important role in remodeling the nature of engines along with their performance and efficiency.

Compact and Efficient Design

A new generation of inline-four engines has been developed with the purpose of making it possible to have low front ends of vehicles. This design change improves the flow of air through the vehicle and in general, cars ‘performance’ improves.
