Founded in 2009, Vivo has slowly, but steadily, cemented its position in the Indian market. The China-based company has made deep inroads in the offline market and is now reaping results of its patient endeavors over the last couple of years. We face a variety of questions regarding the phones that are offered by Vivo, right from the build and performance to camera quality and design.
So, we decided to compile a list of best Vivo phones available in India over a range of prices that you might want to take a look at, i.e. if you are set on buying one from Vivo:
Vivo V5 Plus
The Vivo V5 Plus (first impression) is a completely selfie-centric phone. On the front, it features a rather uncommon dual camera setup which comes with, as Vivo puts it, ‘Softlight’ flash. Having a 20MP primary sensor accompanied by an 8MP secondary sensor to sense the depth of field, the phone flaunts a sleek metal unibody design. While some may argue that it is a bit overpriced at approx. Rs. 27,980, it is a premium phone sure to find takers, especially in the offline segment of the market.

Vivo V3 Max
The V3 Max’s (review) strong point is its performance. The phone features a 3,000mAh battery which also has provisions for fast charging, and was one of the first in the country to offer a Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. The phone is blazing fast and quite apt for heavy users. All in all, at a price of around Rs. 19,395, it is a steal.

Vivo V5
A slightly lighter variant of the V5 Plus, the Vivo V5 (review) boasts of being a ‘Selfie Expert’ and tries to live up to its billing by offering a 20Mp front camera that has a Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor as well as a wide angle lens with f/2.0 aperture.
This, along with other features that include a 3,000mAH battery and an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 Chipset paired with 4GB RAM that make it a top contender as far as the mid-range selfie-centric smartphones are concerned.
