This is the Most Affordable 5G Smartphone from Xiaomi

Alongside the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro’s European launch, Xiaomi unveiled another model, called Mi 10 Lite. Now, although it carries a ‘Lite’ surname, the phone happens to be the brand’s most affordable 5G smartphone as of now. Not just that, the Mi 10 Lite is packed with Snapdragon 765 and a 48MP Quad Rear Camera amongst other reasonably good specs.

On the front, we have a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with the waterdrop-style notch. There’s an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Within that waterdrop, you get a 16MP selfie snapper. The quad rear cameras, OTOH, is led by a 48-megapixel shooter. Mi 10 Lite will feature stuff like Night mode 2.0, AI Dynamic Skyscaping, and Vlog mode too on the software side.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Goes Official

Underneath the phone houses a Snapdragon 765 chip with 5G capability, LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. A 4,160mAh battery keeps it running backed by a 20W fast charger.

As you may have noticed by now, Xiaomi hasn’t shared most of the details. But, it has revealed the phone will be coming with USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, NFC, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, amongst other things.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Pricing and Availability

Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite will be available in White, Gray, and Green colors. Currently, it has been launched in Europe and in those markets, it will retail as follows –

  • 64GB model: €349 (~Rs 28,800)
  • 128GB model: €399 (~Rs 33,120)

Now, whether this will tag along the Mi 10 launch in India is still unknown. As you may know already, Xiaomi has suspended the Mi 10 India Launch event due to Covid 19 lockdown.
