Tesla Car Models Homologation

Tesla has received approval to run its car on the Indian roads since the homologation listing has been cited on Vahan Sewa’s official website. To the readers who don’t know, homologation is a process that involves identifying a vehicle for roadworthiness by matching the requirements set by the Indian government for all vehicles that are made or imported into the country.

While four different Tesla electric cars have been listed, still it is unclear about the specific model the company is intended to bring in first. Though a reliable Twitter source @TeslaClubIN believed it to be two variants each of Model 3 and Model Y.
