Tecno, an offline centric smartphone maker, has introduced a brand new phone under the moniker, Camon i4. The new Tecno CAMON i4 is a camera-centric budget offering that sports a triple camera set up at the back and dot-notch display upfront. Starting at Rs 9,599 the Tecno Camon i4 becomes the cheapest triple rear camera phone in the market.

The main highlight of Tecno Camon i4 is the triple rear camera panel. The primary one is a 13MP sensor which is paired along with an 8MP super wide angle sensor and finally a 2MP depth sensor. So, you could capture 120 degree wide shots and portrait bokeh snaps too. Tecno has also sprinkled AI enhancements too. You could tap on the AI mode available within the camera app.

Now coming to the rest of the phone, we have a 6.2-inch display with 1520 x 720 px resolution with water drop notch. The notch houses a 16MP selfie snapper also facilitating face unlock.

Unlocking the phone, you would be welcomed by HiOS based on Android 9.0 Pie software. The software runs upon a Quad-core Mediatek Helio A22 64Bit processor that is clocked up to 2GHz. Tecno Camon i4 ships with 2GB RAM+32GB ROM, 3GB RAM+ 32GB ROM and finally a 4+64 GB model. The ROM storage memory is expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated micro-SD card.

The phone bears a 3500 mAH battery with no fast charging support. Other specifications include a dual SIM support with dual 4G VoLTE support.

The device has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 9,599 for its 2GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage variant, going up to Rs. 10,599 for its 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant, and Rs. 11,999 for its 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. You could grab the device in Aqua Blue, Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and Nebula Black color variants across 35000+ retail touchpoints and 960+ service touchpoints PAN India.
