While Inifnix was busy setting a grand stage for Hot S3, its sister offline brand Tecno came up with a trimmed down Camon i variant, the Tecno Camon i Air, meant for the offline markets.

Compared to the Camon i, this one has a smaller resolution selfie sensor and lesser memory.

Tecno Camon i Air Features and Specifications

To start with, the Camon i Air has a 5.65-inch 18:9 display panel with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On the inside, it’s powered by entry-grade MT6737 chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which isn’t exactly encouraging.

The Camon i Air has a metal-finish plastic body with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 7.75 mm in thickness and is quite light tipping the scale at just 134 grams.

Other than that, you get Android Nougat based HiOS software, a 13MP rear camera with quad-LED flash, 8MP selfie camera, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3050mAh battery.

On paper, the Camon i Air looks like a phone for the most basic of users. Still, it’s tough to recommend a 16GB storage phone in 2018 (SD card slot or not).

Tecno Camon i Air Price and Features

Tecno Camon i Air costs 7,999 INR, which is reasonable if you compare it to the pricing of other phones in the offline space. If interested, you get to choose between Gold and Black color options.
