Maruti Suzuki, India’s biggest automobile manufacturer, has hiked the prices of its cars in the country for the fifth time since January 2022. The automobile giant has raised prices for its entire portfolio of cars including popular Swift, Baleno, Dezire, Brezza, and more. The new buyers of Maruti Suzuki cars will have to pay up to Rs. 22,000 in more starting 18 April 2022.

Maruti has previously expressed its concern regarding the increasing prices of raw materials that ultimately increase the input costs. To cope with this challenge, the only solution that the company finds is to add an extra amount to the selling price of the cars. So, Maruti figures out to set a price hike of 1.32% across its entire offerings. Here’s the updated pricing.

Previously, Tata Motors and Mahindra have also announced a surge in their car prices from the new fiscal year.
