The holiday shopping rush has officially kicked off in India, and Sony is coming in hot. PlayStation India has announced its Black Friday sale running from November 21 to December 4, dropping the PS5 Digital Edition to ₹44,990 and pushing out some of the steepest accessory discounts we’ve seen all year.

It is interesting to see that you can now buy a PS5 or DualSense controller on Blinkit and Zepto, right alongside your groceries.

Here’s a breakdown of the best deals, what’s actually worth your money, and where to buy.

PS5 Hardware Deals

Sony has knocked ₹5,000 off both the Disc and Digital Slim models solid, but not record-shattering for Black Friday.

  • PS5 Disc Edition: ₹49,990 (down from ₹54,990)
  • PS5 Digital Edition: ₹44,990 (down from ₹49,990)

PS VR2 gets its biggest price drop yet

  • PS VR2 Headset: ₹34,999 (₹10,000 off)

If you’ve been waiting to try Horizon Call of the Mountain, this is the lowest price the headset has ever hit in India.

Best Discounts on PS Accessories

This is where the math gets interesting. Sony’s Pulse Explore Wireless Earbuds, which usually retail for a steep ₹18,990, have been slashed by ₹9,0009. You can now grab them for ₹9,990. That is nearly a 50% discount on planar magnetic drivers, making them an instant recommendation for PS5 owners.

Games are on sale, too

In a surprising move, even newer titles are seeing cuts. The list includes:

  • Death Stranding 2: ₹4,199 (₹1,000 off).
  • Astro Bot: ₹3,199 (₹1,000 off).
  • Spider-Man 2: ₹2,599 (Half price, essentially).

The Best Deals Ranked

Here is the cheat sheet for what’s actually worth your money versus what’s just a standard sale.

ItemSale PriceDiscount
Pulse Explore Earbuds₹9,990 ₹9,000 (47%)
PS VR2 Headset₹34,999₹10,000 (22%)
DualSense Controller₹4,390₹2,000 (31%)
PS5 Disc Console₹49,990₹5,000 (9%)
Death Stranding 2₹4,199₹1,000 (19%)

Where can you buy?

The sale is live across the usual suspects: Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital. However, if you are impatient, Sony has listed Blinkit and Zepto as official partners, meaning you could technically have a DualSense controller delivered faster than a pizza.
