Sony Bravia X90J with 4K 120Hz HDR TV and Cognitive Intelligence Processor launched in India

Sony Bravia 55-inch X90J Ultra-HD HDR LED television is now officially launched in India. Sony has parked its new Cognitive Processor XR under its hood which claims to deliver intelligence that reflects human cognitive characteristics.

Bravia X90J TV Price in India

The 55-inch Bravia X90J India price is set for Rs 1,39,990 while 75-inch and 65-inch will be announced soon. The Sony Bravia KD-55X90J Smart TV is already available for booking in across India from Sony’s key online and offline partners. Currently, at Sony’s official store the TV is available for Rs. 1,32,990 which is already seven thousand cheaper than the official pricing of Rs. 1,39,990.

What’s new with the XR Cognitive Processor?

Earlier this year, Sony unveiled its new XR Cognitive Processor and for TVs. This new processor is capable of splitting scenes into different zones to cross-analyze at once. This is something that was missing in conventional TV processors as they usually process the entire scene as one.

What’s the real-world advantage? Well, the XR Cognative Processor can detect the focal point, analyze them to enhance and deliver a realistic look with rich, true-to-life tones and depth. As per Sony, its new processor can predict the viewer’s focus is and optimize the scene accordingly.

Sony Bravia XR-55X90J specifications and features

The Sony Bravia 55X90J is a 55-inch Ultra-HD LED TV that features Triluminos technology which Japanese giants version of quantum dot technology that is boasted as marketed as QLED TVs. The premium TV from Sony supports HDR, HLG, HDR10, and Dolby Vision formats, as well as Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos for sound.

It is also ideal for gaming thanks to full-array local dimming, HDMI 2.1 connectivity port, 120Hz refresh rate at Ultra-HD resolution, auto low-latency mode, and variable refresh rate support.

The Bravia 55X90J ships with the Google TV user interface with a built-in Chromecast. Sony has also added Google Assistant and Alexa voice assistants, and Apple AirPlay 2 and Apple HomeKit for screen mirroring and IoT connectivity respectively.
