Smartprix People’s Choice Awards 2021: Winners

It has been yet another year of the new normal or should we just say normal as it isn’t new anymore. And the trends that began last year have stuck around and perhaps even refined in 2021. That goes for most of our’s work, life, and learning moving online and the resulting adoption of several tech gadgets and gizmos. An example would be the huge demand for laptops and even long-lost Android tablets. Needless to say, smartphones, well, plenty of them launched and were sold off the shelves. 5G and foldable were part of the public discourse like never before. There were also a lot of new wearables and hearables in store.

Now as it has been a tradition for many years, we are having the Smartprix People’s Choice Awards 2021 at the fag end of the year. Here, we welcomed you to voice your opinion about not only the products but the technology at large. You told us what you the consumer thinks about these tech tools and gears. And we thank you for your overwhelming support and enthusiastic response during the 10-day voting period.

This time around, more than 7 lakh people voted across 24 categories and chose the winners of the People Choice Award’s 2021. So, to know who the winners are, please proceed to our Winners’ announcement:

Our nominations include products launched Between November 25, 2020, and November 25, 2021. And below are the winners you chose with your vote. Let’s start off with Phones, as they are the most popular category.

Best Value for Money Phone (2021) – Redmi Note 10 Pro Max

The phone that ticks all boxes but doesn’t break your bank — That’s what we mean by the best value for money phone. Now the other two phones also offer good value but the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the most all-rounder of the lot.

Best Mid-range 5G Phone (2021) – iQOO 7 5G

While others are competent phones, iQOO 7 5G edged them out with its processing prowess, great display, and the rest of the repertoire.

c. OnePlus Nord 2 5G

Best Flagship Killer (2021) – realme GT 5G

All these phones can give the flagship phones a run for their money but amongst the three, Realme GT 5G takes the crown. It feels to us like the more complete phone.

  1. Sad to see every award is indirectly given to Chinese brand bbk electronics
    oneplus/realme/redmi/iqoo/vivo/oppo/Mi all belongs to bbk
    i know they are value for money
    but still i dont trust them personally
    i recently bought Samsung and i am happy with it.
