When Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback to the Big screen after a hiatus of 4 years, fireworks at the Box Office were almost guaranteed and the man didn’t disappoint as his latest release Pathaan broke technically possible all Box Office Records to emerge as the highest grossing Indian movie of all time. YRF Studios’ Pathaan was released on January 25th and is still running in theatres across India, recently completing 50 glorious days in Cinema Halls.
Now, while the movie is still running in theatres, YRF has decided to stream the movie on OTT in March itself, thus allowing the audience to enjoy the film from the comfort of their home. Pathaan OTT Streaming: When & Where to watch
Reports claim that Pathaan will stream on Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday, March 22. Although Amazon hasn’t published any official confirmation yet but has published a teaser featuring Shah Rukh Khan, that hints towards Pathaan’s OTT streaming soon. Pathaan: OTT premiere with deleted scenes?
Now, for the surprise, we talked about. Pathaan’s OTT streaming might include the deleted scenes from the movie that were not a part of the theatre version. In an interview, director Siddharth Anand hinted about the lead character’s backstory and religion. There is a scene where Rubai asks Pathaan if he is a Muslim. He explains how he was given that name after he helped rescue children in an Afghan village. Siddharth said, “It’s the synergy that Abbas, Sridhar, Adi, and me, it’s the four of us, not the 3 of us. The 4 of us have the same belief system and the same films we’ve grown up on and believed in. We share that. So, the fact that he doesn’t have a name, and he’s found in a theatre that was actually called Navrang..this got edited out, but you might see this in the OTT version…None of us looks down upon this, none of us says this is cheesy.”
So, it would surely be a treat for fans, if the team includes all the otherwise deleted scenes in the OTT version.

Pathaan has become the most successful Hindi film of all time. The film celebrated 50 days of release on Wednesday and is still running in cinemas in India, UAE, Canada, Egypt, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and others. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone starrer movie has earned 540 crores in India so far while the global earnings stand at 1000+ crores. At the global level, it is just behind Dangal which grossed 2000 crores.
