After Apple and LG, Samsung has now entered the race of 5K monitors that are specifically meant for creative professionals. The Samsung ViewFinity S9 monitor made its appearance at CES 2023. It is suitable for professionals who are into photography, video editing, and graphic design. Expectations are that the device will be soon available for purchase in the global market too.

Samsung ViewFinity S9 specifications and pricing

Talking about the specifications, the Samsung ViewFinity S9 ships with a 27-inch display with a 5120×2880 pixels resolution and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut for true-to-life details. The panel has a matte finish for minimizing light reflection and glare. The monitor delivers precise color representation even in highly complex visual environments with the Boasting Delta E ≦21.

In addition, it also features a Color Calibration Engine that helps it in achieving precise brightness and screen color. Not only this but the Samsung Smart Calibration application will let the users adjust RGB color balance, white balance, and Gamma via their smartphones.

The 4K SlimFit camera offered in the device can be used to support native video conferencing. The device comes with Tizen TV OS that offers all the applications and services from the Samsung TV platform.

In terms of design, the Samsung ViewFinity S9 has a sleek and stylish design based on a metal frame which provides it with a premium look. Speculations are that this product by Samsung will directly compete with Apple’s Studio display and flagship OLED LG monitors.

As of now, there is no official update regarding the pricing of the monitor. Nevertheless, we are expecting that it will be priced around $1400 which converts to Rs 1,15,902.
