Samsung’s #unpacked event is scheduled for February 25 where it will announce its much awaited 2018 flagships – the Galaxy S9 an S9+. Ahead of the official launch, Flipkart has already published a teaser page titled “9OnFlipkart”, making it clear that the S9 duo will soon be available online in India on its platform.

The Flipkart’s teaser page features the ‘reimagine camera’ video from Samsung along with a GIF and a banner image which says “Coming on 25.02.2018 stay tuned for more updates.”

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ leaks have revealed almost all of their specifications and features. Various renders and live pictures of S9 and S9+suggest their design won’t be much different from their predecessors.

The biggest highlight will be its variable aperture camera which Samsung has been teasing with ‘reimagine camera’ tagline. The new phones will sport a super speed dual pixel 12MP camera with optical image stabilization. It will support super slo-mo up to 960fps at 720p HD resolution.

As per the leaked Galaxy S9 retail box image, it will feature dual stereo speakers which will be tuned by AKG.  On the hardware front, the phone will rock a Snapdragon 835 chipset and will become the first smartphone to do so. However, the S9 and S9+ Indian retail unit will house an Exynos 9810 mobile processor.

If the buzz on the street is anything to go by, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will hit retail shelves in India on the same date as the global release i.e 16 March. Samsung is expected to announce pre-booking offers at the launch event.
