Samsung has recently updated the Good Lock modules to extend support for the latest version of Android. This came just after the brand rolled out the One UI 5 for Galaxy S22 series based on the Android 13 operating system. After that, the company also introduced a new DropShip module that attempts to one-up WeTransfer by making it easier to transfer files from a Samsung Galaxy device to an Android, iPhone, or PC.

The latest GoodLock module, RegiStar, provides multiple customization options by allowing the user to arrange the Settings menu and change the side key’s long press behaviour. The users will be able the use the module to kick-start an application or trigger an action by double or triple tapping on the Galaxy S and F series devices. One thing to mention here is that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 already has the option to trigger an action by pressing on the display firmly.

You can simply assign the side key or the Back tap gesture to take a screenshot, open the existing application in a pop-up window, change system settings, bring up Google Voice Assistant, launch a new application, and more with the Samsung GoodLock module. Talking about the settings menu customization, you can arrange the menu in a new order, hide your Samsung account email address displayed at the top, or hide selected menu entries. These features are surely going to enhance the productivity of the users along with providing them with a better experience.

As of now, the RegiStar Good Lock module is currently in beta state. It works perfectly on the Galaxy S22 series smartphones and other Samsung devices that are operating on the OneUI 5. If you want to test it, then you can simply download the module from the Samsung Galaxy Store or gets its APK from APKmirror in case the app is unavailable in your region.
