Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Specification (Expected)

As per the rumours, the new S-series devices would feature almost the same design as their predecessor but may see an upgrade in specs. The phones are likely to rock on Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 845 processor and should also see the addition of AKG stereo speakers.

Face up, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, with model number SM-G960 and SM-G965 respectively, are expected to flaunt the same 18:9 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch curved-edge Super AMOLED “Infinity” displays, as their predecessors. The phone will run on Samsung’s latest Experience 9.0 based Android Oreo out of the box.

A new DeX dock, that allows the phone to function as a touchpad or virtual keyboard, is also rumored to be revealed along with S9s. It is also speculated that Samsung may readjust the placement of fingerprint sensor just below the rear camera, instead of the problematic location – next to cameras as seen in S8 and Note 8.

Lastly, there is also one more change that might accompany these new set of S-series phones. Unlike the Galaxy S8 duo, which differs only on the basis of screen size and RAM, the new Galaxy S9 duo could see the top-variant equipped with more features like more RAM and a second rear camera.
