Samsung is reportedly working on the next Fan Edition smartphone, the Galaxy S23 FE 5G. Recently, we reported about the Indian pricing of the device. Now, a new certification listing reveals its entire spec list and images of the smartphone in black color. Here’s everything we know about the Galaxy S23 FE’s design and specifications.
Galaxy S23 FE Design
As seen in the images listed on TENAA, the Galaxy S23 FE looks similar to the vanilla Galaxy S23 launched earlier this year. It features a hole-punch display in the front, a power button, volume rockers on the right spine, and three camera sensor modules protruding from the otherwise flat back panel. Given the design language, it should be safe to say that the lower spine of the phone features a USB-C port, along with the speaker and microphone vents.
TENAA Listing Leaks Galaxy S23 FE Specifications
Per the TENAA listing, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE features a 6.3-inch screen with a 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. We’re also expecting the screen to support up to 120Hz refresh rate. The model that has surfaced on the certification website runs on a chipset with the primary core clocked at 2.99GHz, hinting that it could be the Exynos 2200 SoC. For those catching up, reports claim that the smartphone will ship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in the United States, while the rest of the world will get an Exynos-powered version.
The listing also reveals that the phone could feature 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage variants. In the camera department, the TENAA listing already shows three sensors on the rear panel, which could be a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor for up to three times optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, users should get a 10MP sensor. Last but not least, the S23 FE is said to ship with a 4,370 mAh battery.
It is important to mention that the Samsung Fan Edition smartphone has also appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards website, indicating that the company is gathering all the necessary certifications and approvals before launching the smartphone. As mentioned in a previous report, the S23 FE 5G could cost Rs. 54,999 for the 128GB storage variant and Rs. 59,999 for the 256GB storage variant.
