Samsung Galaxy MWC 2021 event set for June 28: What to expect?

Samsung is one of the biggest names to pull out of this year’s physical Mobile World Congress event. Instead, the company will be presenting its vision for the Galaxy ecosystem of connected devices through an online event. It will be streamed through Samsung Newsroom and the Samsung YouTube channel on June 28 at 10:45 PM IST.

The announcement poster seems to showcase a silhouette of some of the company’s products. This includes (in clockwise order) a clamshell laptop or folding Z Flip phone, a smartwatch, a phone’s back that looks like Galaxy S21 Ultra, a tablet with an S Pen, Z Fold with Knox protection. Now although, the flagship hardware products like the Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 are expected to arrive at the August Unpacked event. So, what’s more, likely or say expected are new foundational platforms for its future products.

Perhaps, we could get our first look at the awaited WearOS-Tizen unified platform. In fact, Samsung has said that it will be showcasing its “vision for the future of smartwatches” at the event which will induce “new opportunities for both developers and users”.

Finally, the company will be divulging its recent works and initiatives in the security field, across smart IoT systems. Now, although the details are scarce at the moment, we don’t have to wait much as the date is near. Block your calendars for June 28 to witness what Samsung has in store.
