Display, Design, and Build

The front display of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 houses a small notch while the Galaxy M20 sports an Infinity-V display. Infinity-V is a fresh look compared to the other phones in the Samsung Portfolio. Smaller the notch, there would be more space for icons in the status bar. The Galaxy M20’s 6.3-inch display with 1080 x 2340 pixels projects more accurate colors than the 6.26-inch display of Zenfone Max Pro M2 with 1080 x 2280 resolution. The brightness levels are identical on both the phones.

As for the back of the phones, both of them sports glass-finish panel but our pick would go to Zenfone’s reflective panel which looks more elegant than the M20’s. We also prefer the better accessible placement of Zenfone’s rounded fingerprint scanner as compared to the oval-shaped reader in Samsung’s M20.

Zenfone offers better protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 against the Dragon Trail protection on the M20’s display.
