Samsung has launched yet another affordable smartphone in India, the Galaxy A05s. For its price, the phone offers many features, including 128GB of storage, a capable chipset, a massive battery, and, to some users’ delight, a 3.5mm headphone jack. Samsung Galaxy A05s Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A05s has a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC (with Adreno 610 GPU). The processor is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It’s great that the company also mentions the total available storage, i.e., 103.8GB, in the official specifications sheet. With a MicroSD card, users can expand the storage up to 1TB.
Regarding cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A05s has a triple-sensor setup, including a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with a wide field of view and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro photography. The selfie shooter is a 13MP sensor. The smartphone provides up to FHD resolution at 60 frames per second for video recording. The 5,000 mAh battery on the phone should last an entire day of typical usage. It also supports 25W fast wired charging.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, 3G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, and USB-C. The smartphone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack for those who prefer a wired headset. With the Galaxy A05s, Samsung promises two years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates, great for a phone in the budget segment. However, the budget smartphone runs on One UI Core instead of a full-fledged One UI. Additional features of the phone include RAM Plus technology for increasing the RAM up to 12GB and Dolby Atmos for an elevated multimedia experience.
