Tech giant Samsung has announced that it will hold a keynote event during the CES 2022 edition to be held on January 4. The consumer expo has not been held physically for the last 2 editions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic-induced lockdowns.
Since 2002, Samsung has been sharing its philosophy and vision for the year ahead through a total of 6 keynote addresses at CES. The 2022 Keynote event will be held under the theme ‘Together for Tomorrow’ to present the direction for technological development going forward.

Samsung’s past Keynote Themes: A Quick Recap
2011: Human Digitalism- The main topic at the company’s 2011 CES keynote was the convergence of digital technology and human beings.
2013: Mobilizing Possibility- In 2013, they introduced their processor which was the brain of devices and energy-efficient memory solutions.
2014: IoT, In Sync with Real-life- Innovative products like Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator was showcased.
2015: Unlocking the Infinite Possibilities of IoT- Their blueprint envisioned a world in which all kinds of products would move forward together with digital technology.
2020: Age of Experience- It heralded a beginning of a new age, the ‘Age of Experiences’ the age in which personal preferences and experiences are foremost.
“Samsung is set to introduce its multifaceted efforts to contribute to making life on Earth more sustainable, and emphasize the need for everyone to participate in reducing climate change wherever they may be,” reads the press release.
The company also mentioned that it is introducing “the latest innovative technologies to help users enjoy even more enriched lifestyles based on optimized, customized service for every person, along with enhanced experiences of being connected.”
CES 2022: Date, Time, and How to Watch
The announcement for the CES 2022 keynote was made through a post on Samsung Newsroom. It will be held on January 4 at 6.30 pm PT (8 AM IST January 5). It will be live-streamed on Samsung Newsroom and the company’s official youtube channel. Jong-Hee Han, President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, will deliver the pre-show keynote address at CES 2022.

Expected Products at the CES 2022
Although Samsung hasn’t announced which products it will unveil during its CES 2022, reports suggest that the company might showcase Samsung Galaxy S21 FE during the expo.
SamMobile reports that the South Korean giant may also showcase MicroLED, MiniLED, and QD-LED TV models at the CES. Some Galaxy A-series smartphones might also be shown.
